Ingredients
1½ cups thick poha (flattened rice)
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 small potato (finely chopped)
2 tbsp peanuts
1 green chilli (chopped)
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp turmeric powder
Curry leaves
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Fresh coriander leaves
Directions
- Rinse poha under water and drain completely.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let them crackle.
- Add peanuts and roast till crunchy.
- Add onions, green chili, curry leaves, and potatoes. Sauté well.
- Add turmeric and salt, mix well.
- Add softened poha and gently mix everything.
- Cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
- Finish with lemon juice and coriander.
- Serve hot.
