A spicy, street-style Mumbai pulao cooked on a tawa with pav bhaji masala and mixed veggies.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 tomato, chopped

  • ½ cup capsicum

  • ½ cup green peas

  • 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala

  • ½ tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Heat butter on a tawa, and sauté onions.
  • Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
  • Add peas, capsicum and spices; sauté well.
  • Mix in cooked rice and stir for 5 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander and serve.
