Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked brown or green lentils

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)

  • 1 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)

  • ¼ tsp chili flakes

  • ½ tsp dried basil or Italian herbs

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Fresh basil (for garnish)

Directions

  • Heat Oil: Heat olive oil in a pan. Add garlic and chili flakes; sauté briefly.
  • Add Tomatoes: Toss in tomatoes and cook until slightly soft.
