Soft urad dal dumplings soaked in creamy yoghurt, topped with chutneys and spices – a refreshing festive snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup urad dal (soaked overnight)

  • 2 tbsp moong dal

  • 2 cups thick yoghurt (whisked)

  • Tamarind chutney & green chutney

  • Roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, and chaat masala

Directions

  • Grind soaked dals into a fluffy batter.
  • Deep fry into vadas until golden.
  • Soak vadas in warm water for 10 mins, then squeeze gently.
  • Place in a bowl, pour the yoghurt, drizzle the chutneys, and sprinkle with the spices.

Notes

  • Serving: Festive, refreshing, and loved during Holi & Diwali.
