Juicy mushrooms stuffed with a creamy cheese and herb filling, baked until golden—an elegant, crowd-pleasing dish perfect for year-end celebrations and parties.

Ingredients

  • 12 large button mushrooms

  • ¾ cup cream cheese (softened)

  • ½ cup grated mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese (optional)

  • 2 tbsp onion (very finely chopped)

  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)

  • ½ tsp black pepper powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tsp mixed herbs or oregano

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Directions

  • Prepare Mushrooms: Clean mushrooms and carefully remove stems. Finely chop the stems and keep aside.
  • Make Filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, parmesan, chopped stems, onion, garlic, pepper, salt, and herbs.
  • Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Stuff Mushrooms: Lightly brush mushroom caps with olive oil. Spoon filling generously into each cap.
  • Bake: Arrange mushrooms on a baking tray and bake for 18–20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and lightly golden.
  • Garnish: Sprinkle chopped parsley on top.
  • Serve Hot: Serve immediately as a party starter or festive side.
