A quick Asian-style stir-fry with tender fish strips tossed in a bold pepper–garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 250g boneless fish strips

  • 1 tbsp garlic (finely chopped)

  • 1 tsp crushed pepper

  • 1 medium onion (sliced)

  • 1 capsicum (sliced)

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp vinegar

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1 tbsp oil

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  • Add fish pieces and stir-fry on high flame for 3–4 minutes.
  • Add onion & capsicum; mix lightly.
  • Add soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, chilli flakes, and salt.
  • Cook for 2–3 minutes and serve hot.
