A sweet South Indian dessert made with roasted vermicelli, milk, sugar, and cardamom — often served during festivals.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vermicelli

  • 2 cups milk

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 1 tbsp ghee

  • 1 tbsp cashews & raisins

  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder

Directions

  • Roast vermicelli in ghee until golden.
  • Add milk and cook until soft.
  • Add sugar and cardamom, stir well.
  • Garnish with fried cashews & raisins.
