A quick, colorful street-style snack made with juicy sweet corn, tangy lemon juice, crunchy veggies, and bold Indian spices—perfect for evening cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups sweet corn kernels (boiled)

  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 small tomato (finely chopped)

  • 1 green chili (finely chopped, optional)

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ tsp red chilli powder

  • ½ tsp chaat masala

  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder

  • Salt to taste

  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 1 tbsp butter (optional, street-style touch)

Directions

  • Boil the Corn: Boil sweet corn kernels in salted water for 7–8 minutes. Drain well.
  • Mix Base Ingredients: Transfer corn to a mixing bowl. Add chopped onion, tomato, and green chilli.
  • Season: Add red chilli powder, chaat masala, black pepper, and salt. Mix everything gently.
  • Add Butter (Optional): While corn is warm, mix in butter for extra street-style flavor.
  • Finish with Lemon: Add lemon juice and chopped coriander. Mix well.
  • Serve Immediately: Serve warm as a quick snack or evening street-style chaat.
