Ingredients
500g chicken (cut pieces)
2 onions (finely chopped)
2 tomatoes (chopped)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 cup grated coconut
1 tbsp fennel seeds, 5–6 dried red chillies, 1 tsp black peppercorns
2 tbsp oil, salt to taste
Directions
- Dry roast coconut, fennel, chillies, and peppercorns. Grind into a paste.
- Heat oil, sauté onions and ginger-garlic paste till golden.
- Add tomatoes, cook until mushy.
- Add chicken, salt, and masala paste. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked and the gravy has thickened.
- Garnish with curry leaves and serve hot with parotta or rice.
