Tender chicken simmered in a creamy tomato gravy, flavoured with butter and spices. A North Indian restaurant favourite.

Ingredients

  • 500g bone or boneless chicken (marinated in yoghurt, spices)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 onion (chopped)

  • 2 tomatoes (pureed)

  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala

  • 1/4 cup cream

  • Kasuri methi, salt

Directions

  • Cook the marinated chicken until tender.
  • In another pan, sauté onions, garlic, and tomato puree.
  • Add spices and cooked chicken.
  • Stir in cream and kasuri methi. Simmer.
  • Serve with naan or rice.
