Ingredients
2 cups bottle gourd (lauki, chopped)
1 tsp olive oil or ghee
2 cloves garlic (sliced)
½ tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp lemon juice
Fresh coriander (for garnish)
Directions
- Heat Oil: Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and garlic; sauté lightly.
- Add Lauki: Add chopped bottle gourd and turmeric. Mix well.
- Cover & Cook: Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes until soft.
- Season: Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Toss gently.
- Serve: Garnish with coriander and serve warm.
