Ingredients
250 g mushrooms (cleaned & sliced)
2 tbsp oil
1 large onion (thinly sliced)
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tomatoes (finely chopped)
1 tsp crushed black pepper
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
½ cup water
Curry leaves (optional)
Fresh coriander (for garnish)
Directions
- Sauté Onions: Heat oil in a pan. Add curry leaves and onions. Sauté until golden brown.
- Add Aromatics: Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until raw smell disappears.
- Add Tomatoes & Spices: Add tomatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, pepper, and salt. Cook until soft and oil separates.
- Add Mushrooms: Add mushrooms and mix well.
- Simmer: Add water, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes until mushrooms are tender.
- Finish: Add garam masala, mix gently, and switch off flame.
- Serve: Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
