Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
½ cup curd
¼ cup water (adjust as needed)
1 small onion (finely chopped)
½ cup mixed vegetables (carrot, capsicum, beans – finely chopped)
1 green chilli (finely chopped)
1 tsp ginger (grated)
½ tsp cumin powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1–2 tbsp oil for cooking
Fresh coriander leaves
Directions
- Prepare Oats Batter: Dry grind oats into a fine flour. Add curd and water to make a smooth, pourable batter.
- Add Vegetables & Spices: Mix in onion, vegetables, green chili, ginger, cumin powder, turmeric, salt, and coriander.
- Heat the Pan: Heat a non-stick tawa and grease lightly with oil.
- Make the Chilla: Pour a ladle of batter and spread gently into a circle.
- Cook: Drizzle oil around edges and cook till golden on one side. Flip and cook the other side.
- Serve Hot: Serve with green chutney or curd.
