A wholesome Indian flatbread stuffed with spiced mixed vegetables—crispy outside, soft inside, and perfect for a hearty breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • For Dough:
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour

  • Water as needed

  • Salt to taste

  • For Stuffing:
  • 1 cup boiled & mashed mixed vegetables (potato, carrot, peas)

  • 1 onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 green chilli (finely chopped)

  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • ½ tsp red chili powder

  • ½ tsp garam masala

  • Salt to taste

  • Fresh coriander leaves

  • Ghee or oil for cooking

Directions

  • Knead wheat flour, salt, and water into a soft dough. Rest for 10 minutes.
  • Mix all stuffing ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  • Divide dough into equal balls. Roll slightly and place stuffing in the center.
  • Seal and gently roll into a thick paratha.
  • Heat a tawa and cook the paratha with ghee or oil on both sides till golden.
  • Serve hot with curd, pickle, or butter.
