Ingredients
500g prawns (cleaned)
2 onions (finely chopped)
2 tomatoes (pureed)
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ tsp garam masala
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Directions
- Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves and onions.
- Sauté till onions turn golden.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté well.
- Add tomato puree and all spice powders with salt.
- Cook till masala thickens and oil separates.
- Add prawns and mix gently.
- Cover and cook for 6–8 minutes till prawns are fully cooked.
- Sprinkle garam masala and serve hot with steamed rice.
