Ingredients
1 cup milk powder
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp ghee
Milk (as needed for dough)
Oil/ghee for deep frying
- For Sugar Syrup:
1.5 cups sugar
1.5 cups water
4 cardamom pods
Few saffron strands
1 tsp rose water (optional)
Directions
- Mix milk powder, flour, soda, and ghee. Add milk to make soft dough.
- Roll into smooth balls.
- Heat the oil on low. Fry until golden brown.
- Boil syrup ingredients for 10 mins.
- Soak fried balls in warm syrup for 2+ hours.
