Ingredients
200 g firm tofu (cubed)
½ cup capsicum (sliced)
½ cup onion (sliced)
1 tsp oil
1½ tbsp vegan yogurt or cashew paste
½ tsp red chili powder
½ tsp garam masala
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
Lemon juice (for finishing)
Directions
- Marinate Tofu: Mix vegan yogurt, spices, and salt. Toss tofu and rest 10 minutes.
- Sauté Veggies: Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and capsicum; cook till slightly crisp.
- Cook Tofu: Add marinated tofu and stir-fry till golden and smoky.
- Finish: Add lemon juice and mix well.
- Serve: Use inside wraps, tacos, or rice bowls.
