Ingredients
1 cup boiled chickpeas
1½ cups fresh spinach (roughly chopped)
1 tsp olive oil
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 small onion (finely chopped)
1 tsp garlic (minced)
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp paprika or red chilli powder
¼ tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Lemon juice (for finishing)
Directions
- Heat Oil: Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Sauté Base: Add onion and garlic. Cook until soft and golden.
- Spice It: Add turmeric, chilli powder, and garam masala. Mix well.
- Add Chickpeas: Stir in chickpeas and cook for 3–4 minutes.
- Finish with Spinach: Add spinach and cook until just wilted.
- Serve: Finish with lemon juice and serve hot.
